Children's Ministry

Trinity is a growing community that is ever changing to meet the needs and challenges of the young people who walk through its doors. Yet, it is a community that is ever steady in its teachings of the life and theology of Jesus Christ.

Beginning with a strong Sunday School program, we strive to place the word of God in the hearts of young people. These classes meet each Sunday morning from 9:15 to 10:15 in several age-appropriate class groupings. Our "Hands-On" Bible curriculum seeks to engage children through various interactive methods to help them learn the Bible stories.

Other educational opportunities occur during Vacation Bible School and special workshops to teach children about worship and communion.

The "Trinity Kidz Choir" encompasses children in grades one through eight and meets following the sermon each week during the school year. The choir allows our children a way to participate in worship leadership. Children can also be found in worship acting as liturgists, reading scripture or offering prayers.

Fellowship abounds in our Children's Ministry program through swim parties, picnics, cultural activities and much more.  Intergenerational fellowship occurs annually with Rally Day, our Fall Fling, and the Spring Picnic.

Possibly most importantly, the children of Trinity are given opportunities to take what they have learned and experienced and share this message of grace with the community and the world around them through mission events planned with agencies such as Heifer International and Centers for Youth and Families.
