Hands-On Opportunities
Honduras Mission Trip - Trinity has participated in this mission since 2001. This past year, the trip took 39 volunteers from different churches and different denominations to San Marcos, Honduras and the surrounding area. They provided medical care to over 1,500 patients, ministered to area children, and made additions and improvements to a church in the village of Cololaca. 
Some of the ways you can participate in this ministry are:
- donate supplies for the mission trip
- provide scholarship funds
- provide translation assistance
- work on the construction team
- work on the medical team
The Stewpot - This mission program started at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Little Rock on March 20, 1978, by providing lunch for 16 hungry people. Throughout the years it has grown -- there were 37,045 meals served last year. Stewpot currently serves between 130-160 men, women and children each day. Trinity provides financial support of this mission in our annual budget. Trinity also provides volunteers to prepare and serve the meals every other Monday. Anyone over age 12 may serve. This is a great opportunity for kids and parents!
Some of the ways you can participate in this ministry are:
- pick up food donations
- assist the morning cooking team
- work on the serving team at noontime
The Interfaith Hospitality Network - This innovative mission allows churches to open their doors to provide shelter for homeless families. Participating churches share the responsibility for four weeks each year. This program provides shelter, meals, and comprehensive assistance to over 15,000 homeless family members, 60% of whom are children. 80% of guest families found permanent housing. Annually, 6,000 adults are assisted in job search or job training programs. There are 103 Interfaith Hospitality Networks in 28 states. There are more than 2,500 congregations of all denominations working together. Annually 85,000 people have volunteered in Network programs.
Trinity began working with this mission in 2004 and is supporting this mission with our budget, with our facilities and with volunteers.
