HELPERS NEEDED AT THE STEWPOT: Volunteers from Trinity staff The Stewpot, an inner-city feeding ministry at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Little Rock, every other Monday. Duties include helping to prepare lunch and/or set up and clean up the dining area. Give Gerrit Gorter a call at 225-3825 for more information or to be added to the list of volunteers. Our next service date is Monday, January 25.

CONFIRMATION SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS: Confirmation Class is for all 6^th and 7^th graders and any older youth who have not been confirmed. It will begin with the Confirmation Retreat (February 26-28) at Ferncliff Camp followed by a weekly class at Trinity. Rev. Jeff Price will lead the class during Sunday School (9:15–10:15 am) in the Middle School classroom on March 7, 14, 28 and April 11. The confirmands will be examined by the Session on Thursday, April 15 and be presented to the congregation on April 18.

CONFIRMATION CAMP AT FERNCLIFF FEBRUARY 26-28: Confirmation Camp is for is for all 6^th and 7^th graders and any older youth who have not been confirmed. Confirmation Camp features a highly participative format where small groups of youth form a “New Church Development.” Over the course of the weekend, they create their church. Each small group writes a mission statement, designs a building, formats the style of worship, and develops their mission. Each group then presents their new church to the “Presbytery.” We’ll explore what it means to be a Christian, what it means to be the church, Presbyterian ways of doing God’s work, and Mission and Outreach. Confirmation Camp begins Friday, February 26 at 7:00pm at Ferncliff and ends Sunday, February 28 after lunch. There is no charge to attend. TRINITY’S SILENT/LIVE AUCTION TO BE HELD FEBRUARY 27: Trinity’s annual silent and live Auction will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. This is the time the adults of Trinity and their guests gather to bid on various donated items. Funds raised from this Auction go towards Trinity’s mission projects. Our ’10 auction will have a beach theme! Please be thinking about any items you wish to donate or have donated. If you have any questions or items to donate, call Terri Ridgeway at 501-333-2676, or Jenny Smiley at 821-4593. Donor contracts are included in your bulletin, and a list of vendors we’ve contacted is available on the Narthex table.

WOMEN’S RETREAT MARCH 12-14: There will be a Trinity Women’s Retreat the weekend of March 12-14. This event is open to all adult women who are Trinity members or visitors seeking to grow in their relationships with God and with other women. The retreat will be held at Kristin Trulock’s parents’ Greers Ferry Lake house. We will be leaving late afternoon on Friday the 12^th and returning early afternoon on Sunday the 14^th.
